Barbara Bennett ,
Barbara Bennett holds both a Bachelor’s degree in counseling and a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling degree from Clarks Summit University. Barbara and her husband have been married for 35 years and have two adopted sons who are now adults. She coached volleyball for 26 years, cherishing the opportunity to help her players navigate difficult life circumstances. In formal counseling, Barbara has worked with teens, young adults, single adults, couples, families, and senior adults. She recognizes that seeking counseling can be a scary step and works diligently to help her clients feel as though they have a safe space to process and grow. Barbara’s compassion for people, combined with her strong belief that each person is a unique individual deserving a customized approach, means that she utilizes several different types of therapy. She often incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Narrative Therapy as well as other modalities. For clients who request it, Faith-Based Therapy is also available.
