Dr. Ilia V. Carmona is a dedicated and understanding therapist specializing in supporting children, families, and individuals. With a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from Carlos Albizu University – San Juan Campus, Dr. Carmona brings over 10 years of clinical experience providing mental health counseling to patients with ADHD, behavioral disorders, autism, depression, anxiety, and other mood-related disorders. She completed her Internship at Ramon Fernandez Marina Hospital in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, and is a Licensed Psychologist in Puerto Rico. Dr. Carmona's diverse professional background includes providing mental health services to male adults convicted in jail and with substance dependence at ASSMCA for the Drug Court Program in Puerto Rico from 2014-2015. She also has experience providing services in the Special Education Program in Puerto Rico. Additionally, Dr. Carmona holds a master’s degree in Neuropsychology and was certified in Addictive Disorders and Mental Health Counseling by the Puerto Rico and Florida Recovery Academy in 2015. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Carmona is committed to providing personalized support and guidance to her clients on their journey towards growth and well-being.
