Janice Cassens, Ph.D
Dr. Janice Cassens holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico, Metro Campus. She has completed advanced studies, including a Certification in Autism Spectrum Disorder from the University of Central Florida and Applied Behavioral Analysis at the University of Cádiz, supported by ABA Spain. Additionally, she is trained to administer the ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule).
Dr. Cassens has worked as a mental health therapist and evaluator at Preservers of Destinies, providing support to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), other developmental disabilities, and a wide range of mental health conditions. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.
Currently, Dr. Cassens is preparing for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) exam, with the aim of enhancing her expertise in working with the ASD population. Her passion lies in helping individuals achieve independence, develop new skills, and improve social behaviors, while continuously seeking opportunities for professional growth.
